Advertising on the Mobile Web

Filed under: MoMo Event — admin @ 9:25 pm

Topic:Discovery & Monetization: advertising on the mobile web .The mobile ecosystem has struggled with two primary challenges: Discovery and Monetization. In the last year, however, the industry has seen tremendous changes on both fronts, and in countries like India, where it serves over 200 million ad impressions per month, Admob has served as a catalyst for those changes. The session will be an interactive discussion where attendees will discuss the kinds of mobile web content that are seeing broad-based adoption, and the role that advertising plays in determining how that content is discovered and monetized.

Speaker Bio: Zubair Jandali works in business development at Admob, where he focuses on partnership opportunities in India and international markets. Before joining AdMob, Zubair worked in search engine marketing and business development at NexTag, an online comparison shopping engine that was acquired for over $1 billion by Providence Equity Partners. Prior to NexTag, Zubair worked in the investment banking divisions of Goldman Sachs and Lazard. Zubair holds a BS from the University of California, Berkeley
